Osteopathy and Psychotherapy in the Health System

We offer osteopathy and psychotherapy as alternative medicine services. These services are billed via the GebüH, the fee regulations for alternative medicine practitioners.

Are you privately insured? Privately insured patients and patients with additional insurance for alternative practitioners usually receive a high percentage of the treatment costs reimbursed. Please ask your health insurance provider about the exact terms and conditions.

Do you have statutory insurance? In this case, statutory health insurance can partially reimburse the costs for osteopathy for a limited number of appointments. Please check with your health insurance provider before starting treatment whether a private prescription from your family doctor is necessary for the costs to be covered.

Under Osteokompass you will find a list of health insurance companies and their co-payments for osteopathy. Since this is an external site, we cannot guarantee the accuracy here.

You are of course also welcome in the practice as a self-payer. This has the advantage that you will not be registered with your health insurance company. This can be an advantage for you if you still want to take out insurance, etc.

Terms and conditions with costs and detailed information can be found here

Osteopathy on prescription

Since we are a naturopathic practice, we cannot accept prescriptions for physical therapy, physiotherapy, manual therapy or lymphatic drainage.

psychotherapy

As alternative practitioners, we are not allowed to accept prescriptions for psychotherapy from health insurance companies. We regret this very much, as we are aware of the shortage of therapists.

Osteopathy on prescription

Depending on the insurance company, billing through the statutory health insurance is possible for 3-6 treatments.

self-payers

Not everyone wants their problems to be documented by an insurance company. As alternative practitioners, we are allowed to work independently without a doctor's instructions

supplementary insurance

Taking out additional insurance for alternative practitioners can be worthwhile in some cases, especially for children.
